Google verification headaches and how to get through them
Google verification has gotten genuinely annoying. Video verifications get rejected for tiny things. Profiles get paused with no clear explanation. Even legitimate businesses with real addresses are getting bounced two or three times before they get approved.
If you are stuck in verification limbo, here is what works.
For video verification: film one continuous take, no cuts. Start outside showing your business signage and street. Walk inside. Show branded materials, equipment, paperwork, anything with your business name on it. Show the location on your phone's map app. Keep it under two minutes. Do not edit, do not cut, do not add music.
For a suspended profile: do not panic-edit fifteen things at once. Submit a reinstatement request through the official form. Include photos of your signage, a recent utility bill, and your business license. Keep the description factual and short.
For paused listings: the same playbook. Reinstatement form, real documentation, no drama.
If you have been bounced more than twice and you are running a real Charlotte business, something specific is tripping Google's filters. That is fixable, but only after you stop guessing and look at what your profile actually shows them.
